Η AD4ES6GPX4 υποστηρίζει κάθε τύπο SATA αποθηκευτικού μέσου, είτε αυτό είναι κάποιος SSD ή HDD, είτε κάποιο optical drive. Ο controller υποστηρίζει επιπλέον και port multipliers, επιτρέποντας έτσι την σύνδεση περισσοτέρων των τεσσάρων SATA συσκευών πάνω στην κάρτα.
