Το νέο SoC ονομάζεται MT6753 και χρησιμοποιεί οκτώ πυρήνες Cortex A53 στα 1.5GHz. Η GPU του είναι η Mali T-720 η οποία υποστηρίζει OpenGL ES 3.0 και OpenCL 1.2. Επιπλέον η GPU υποστηρίζει αναπαραγωγή και εγγραφή 1080p h.264 στα 30fps καθώς και αναπαραγωγή 1080p h.265 στα 30fps. Το MT6753 υποστηρίζει κάμερες έως 16MP και χαρακτηριστικά όπως "Picture in Picture," VIV (shadow film) και imaging face beautification.
