Gigabyte has announced a new contest to promote the 990FXA-UD7 motherboard, the Spring Extreme contest. The contest will be open to anyone with an AMD processor and a Gigabyte motherboard. The contest will be split into[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] four stages and runs from today until March 15, 2012. Stage one is Super PI 1M, stage two is Super PI 32M, stage three is PiFast, and stage four is PC Mark 05. The first prize is a 990FXA-UD7 motherboard, second prize is a 990FXA-UD5 motherboard, and third prize is a 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. Full rules can be found on the HWBOT page.
