RootX Posted July 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2004 Απόσπασμα από το e-mailFD Tach is a based on the new Tach benchmark library written for the recently released HD Tach. It is targeted towards flash devices. Flash memory is everywhere today, in your MP3 player, your digital camera, pen drive/USB key chains and more. Flash memory is different than rotating storage such as hard drives as it is created from solid state memory chips with unique performance characteristics. These chips should have the same performance no matter where the data access is occurring, thus the performance versus position graph of HD Tach is not needed. Flash devices are much more sensitive to the interface they are plugged into and the block size of data used for reads and writes. Additionally, write speeds on a flash device can be very different from the read speeds due to the extr! a erase cycle required and the block size used by the flash device for native writes.A small sample of devices is included in the library, and of course as the beta goes on for the next couple weeks we will add your submissions in.You can download FD Tach Beta at this page (email registration is required for the Beta program).Known Bugs: FD Tach uses HD Tach Logo.Μα καλά, ένα logo δεν μπόρεσαν να αλλάξουν?
