Όπως χαρακτηριστικά διάβασα σε ένα ξένο φόρουμ, θα ζήσουμε βλέποντας να φεύγουν σημαντικοί άνθρωποι όπως Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Paul McCartney και λοιποί.

Δυστυχώς, αυτή η πανέμορφη γενιά πέρασε.

Ευτυχώς που σχεδόν όλες οι κομματάρες που βγήκαν τότε υπάρχουν ψηφιοποιημένες, ώστε μπόρεσα να τις ακούσω κι εγώ που γεννήθηκα το '90 και να εκτιμήσω τι θα πει αληθινή μουσική και να ανεβάσω τα standards μου τόσο ψηλά που να μην τα αγγίζουν τα περισσότερα σημερινά μουσικά σκουπίδια.

Χαίρομαι πραγματικά να διαβάζω κάτι ανάλογο από άτομα της ηλικίας σου. Υπάρχουν και σήμερα όμορφα κομμάτια, αλλά η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία είναι απλά εμπορικά και ελάχιστα από αυτά θα μείνουν για τις επόμενες γενεές... Δυστυχώς οι δισκογραφικές δεν εξάπλωσαν τη μουσική αλλά την κατέστρεψαν, φτιάχνοντας ψεύτικα είδωλα σε μιά νύκτα, και φυσικά εξαφανίζοντάς τα το ίδιο γρήγορα...

Edit: Ακούγοντας ένα τυχαίο playlist τη στιγμή που έγραφα το post, έτυχε να παίξει το παρακάτω. Έτος, 1984. Γράφτηκε για το soundtrack μιας ταινίας. Χωρίς ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία, ούτε η ταινία, ούτε το τραγούδι. Εμένα προσωπικά μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ. Δείτε όμως τα λόγια του, όχι μόνο σαν ποιότητα, που είναι και υποκειμενική, αλλά σαν όγκο, σα γραμμές... Οι άνθρωποι τότε έγραφαν μουσική, έγραφαν στίχους. Όχι 2 στιχάκια, ένα ρεφραίν και μερικοί κ@λοι στο video clip για να πουλήσουμε...
