Ο Scott Mueller στην έκδοση 14, σελ. 1179 αναφέρει ότι:

"Unfortunately, if you study the Dell main and auxiliary connector pinouts I've listed here and compare them to the industry-standard ATX pinouts listed earlier, you'll see that not only are the voltage and signal position changed, but the number of terminals carrying specific voltages and grounds has changed as well. You could modify a Dell supply to work with a standard ATX board or modify a standard ATX supply to work with a Dell board, but you'd have to do some cutting and splicing in addition to swapping some terminals around.".

Νομίζω πως αυτό που αναφέρει είναι λάθος. Αφού στο βιβλίο λέει ότι ο αριθμός των σημάτων όσον αφορά ρεύματα και γειώσεις είναι διαφορετικός στους δύο connectors, ακόμα και να μπορείς να κάνεις τις συγκολλήσεις, πώς γίνεται να καταφέρεις να κατασκευάσεις τον ένα connector από τον άλλο; Τί λέτε εσείς; Δεν είναι λάθος αυτό που λέει;

γιατι να μη γινεται ; τι σε κολυει ωστε να πολλαπλασιασεις/μειωσεις τις γραμμες και τις γειωσεις ;
