Φόρτωση Ghost Image σε raid 0

Έχω τραβήξει ενα image με το Norton Ghost 2003 στον σκληρό που έχει φορτωμένα τα ΧΡ

Η επόμενη αναβάθμιση μου θα είναι 2 Χ SATA2 σκληροί σε raid 0 για την εγκατάσταση του λειτουργικού. Το Norton Ghost 2003 θα αναγνωρίσει το raid για να φορτώσει το image ή θα τα ξαναφορτώνω?.

Υπάρχει κάποιος που να έκανε αυτήν την δουλειά με αυτό ή με άλλο software?

Στο 965 λες? Δεν πιστευω να παιξει δυστηχως....

Σε 965 κανενα δεν παιζει ακομα. Απο οσο ξερω....και ισως αν δοκιμασεις το ghost 10 2006 να εχεις περισσοτερη τυχη.

Ghost and RAID Ghost is not compatible with computers that use RAID. That is, Symantec Ghost 8.x and earlier, and Norton Ghost 2003 and earlier, do not support RAID controllers on computers that are being imaged. In addition: Ghost does not work with software level RAID. Although Ghost might work in some limited circumstances with hardware level RAID, Symantec does not support using Ghost for cloning hardware level RAID drives. Ghost does support cloning drives that have had RAID removed, such as after you break a mirrored set. Ghost and hardware-level RAID systems Although it is not a supported feature, Ghost can sometimes create and restore images to hardware level RAID systems if you load the appropriate DOS ASPI driver to support this. Load the DOS ASPI driver when you create the image file and again when you restore the image file. DOS ASPI drivers can usually be obtained from the RAID hardware manufacturer. zIf you don't know what RAID is, skip this section. I've never used RAID myself. Altho not officially supported, Ghost should work fine with any RAID controller that allows you to access the drives from DOS. See here. In other words, Ghost should work fine with hardware RAID, but not with software RAID (cuz the OS creates the stripe, and you don't have your OS in DOS).

Το ghost δουλεύει μια χαρά με το raid της striker μου.

Ως προς την ερώτηση σου...

Ενα ghost που δοκίμασα να επαναφέρω απο xp χωρίς raid στην τωρινή κατάσταση raid 0 που έχω το σύστημα,δεν δούλεψε.

Εφτανε μέχρι την οθόνη φορτώματος τον xp και μετά έκανε restart.

Θα πρέπει να ξαναβάλεις τα xp και να κάνεις καινούργιο ghost για μελλοντική χρήση.
