Hot Fix March 28, 2014 - Game Updates - NWI Forums
Molotov Spring has been well-received so far!Thanks everyone for your feedback and positive remarks.
We haven't had any rest since then, as today we're issuing a small hot fix to address a few issues:
- Tweaked Coop maps: Market, Peak, Heights, Contact
- Added Elcan attachment for SAW.
- Increased recoil of FN FAL and updated firing sound.
- FN FAL tracers changed to red, since it uses NATO ammunition.
- More visual damage indicator if you've been hit.
- Removed old unused bot difficulty cvars from checkpoint playlist.
- Increased Coop max roundtime and added extra round time on objective capture.
- Fixed RPG hits not destroying caches.
- Moltov model changes.
- Molotov slowed down damage frequency, increased damage a bit to compensate. You can still run through molotov fire but not hover within it for a while and not die.
- You can throw Molotovs directly at your feet and it will explode, most likely burning you to death.
- Added support for playlists to define required minimum and maximum values for maxplayers.
- Added 24 maxplayers minimum requirement for coop matchmaking.
- Set sniper rifle cost to 1 in coop to match PVP
- Disabled AoE nade screams for friendly grenades which didn't explode directly on top of us.
- Added responses for AoE grenades detonating on or near players.
- Fixed a server issue with Sourcemod plugin.

One of the biggest overhauls is with our cooperative mode Checkpoint. Since the version you all have been playing, we have practically re-written the AI code from scratch.
The new AI are much more intelligent, and Checkpoint is as immersive and challenging as it’s ever been.
Adversarial Match
Game modes that use objective-based respawning.

Sustained Combat
Game modes that provide players with higher levels of action and respawning.

New game modes:
Infiltrate - Our new Capture the Flag inspired game mode where you must obtain the enemy’s intel and return it to your base. Your team gets reinforced upon taking the enemy's intel or killing an enemy intel carrier.
Flashpoint - One of our new objective-based respawn modes where there is only 1 capture point in the middle, and where each team has two weapon caches. Capturing the point or destroying the caches will bring your team reinforcements, and clearing the entire area will result in victory.
Occupy - Our new King of the Hill inspired game mode where your team must occupy the map in order to slowly force the enemy to run out of reinforcement waves. Controlling the objective allows your team to continue reinforcing without depleting any waves.
Vendetta - A new single life mode where each team has a leader that they must protect and capture an objective with. Capturing or eliminating the enemy’s leader will result in victory.
Updated Game Modes:
Strike - We have removed the old Strike and put Search and Destroy in its place, but with only 1 cache and a single life.
Ambush - Formerly known as VIP Escort.
New matchmaking category specific to single-life game modes. Objective-based respawning modes are now referred to as “Adversarial”.
All new bot AI for Cooperative and offline practice mode.
All new Cooperative missions for each map (plus new maps).
Stability Fixes
Fixed client side crash caused by being deafened by explosions.
Fixed client side crash caused by player death.
Fixed client side “OnDataChanged” crash.
Fixed Linux coop server crash.
Fixed broken radial menu in OSX.
Increased the sound channel limit, which should reduce performance drops caused by the audio system.
Added Level of Detail to player models for improved performance especially on more open maps.
Gameplay Improvements
Added centralized system for HQ messages which also features queueing so radio messages don’t play over one another.
At the end of the round players are now told the winning condition that was met so that players better understand what caused the round to end.
Fixed weapon dropping so weapons and grenades no longer fall through the ground or disappear quickly after being dropped.
Strike is now a single life game mode with only 1 cache to locate and destroy.
Unless you are in a spawn zone, you now must be directly looking at a cache to open the inventory menu with the Use key.
Made all hold/toggle control choices, such as crouch and ironsight, into separate keybindings instead. The game will detect old configs and will setup the new bindings appropriately depending on their settings.
Added “mp_player_spotting” server-side option to disable spotting.
Added resupply delay to prevent people spamming explosives from their spawn/friendly caches.
You no longer get unbipodded when a player walks past you.
Fixed counter-attack being triggered with only 1 player left alive in Checkpoint.
The final objective in Checkpoint now has a counter-attack round with the bots starting from the previous objective.
Added 3 second delay to weapon being lowered in restricted area, time configurable through “mp_restricted_area_wpn_time”.
Hopefully addressed some of the hit detection issues by using specific outer bounds for player collision. Please provide us with feedback on this.
Added “sv_hud_deathmessages_spectator” which allows you to turn on death notices for spectators.
Added “cl_hud_deathnotice_show_demo” which allows you to force on death notices during demo playback, regardless of server setting at the time of recording.
Bug Fixes
Fixed pistol not being deploy when you become the VIP.
Fixed VIP viewmodel hands not being used when playing as the VIP.
Fixed scroll up behavior when you have no primary weapon.
Fixed problem with receiving pistol in training.
Fixed incorrect knife weapon class.
Fixed localization issues with joining the spectator team.
Fixed some materials that had script errors generating console warnings.
Fixed “Spectating” caption sometimes showing up when it shouldn’t.
Cache discovery sounds now play to entire team, not just squad of discoverer.
Fixed floating weapons around the map (still a known bug with floating attachments).
Accessibility and UI Improvements
Added French and Portuguese (Brazilian) localization.
Updated Simplified Chinese and Dutch localization.
Updated Game Controller configuration using settings from CSGO.
New dedicated HUD element for warning players about restricted areas.
Adjusted PO-4x reticule.
Style changes to game instructor.
Milliseconds shown on game timer when there is less than a minute remaining.

Take the Fight to the Sea with Battlefield 4 Naval Strike - News - Battlelog / Battlefield 4
We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs.We are working hard to resolve that issue now.
We are trying to resolve these problems as quickly as possible and hope to release the update in early April for Xbox One and PC.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:- Battlelog now supports the Naval Strike expansion pack for Battlefield 4. The content will be enabled as the release is rolled out on the various platforms.
- The video background has now been enabled by default; you can turn it off for specific computers by going to Settings (don't worry, we automatically pause the video background when you launch the game)
- Carrier Assault will not display scores in Live Scoreboard and BattleScreen; this will be fixed with the next Battlelog update in 2 weeks
FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS:
- Added a new background and video background to celebrate the release of Naval Strike
- Added a refresh button to all the Multiplayer pages (except for Play Now), including Favorites and History
- 15 new ranks have been added to Platoons, so you can now reach rank 25 with your Platoon
- Console Rent-a-Server owners (once released for the respective platform) can now upload their server banner image on Battlelog
- The Battle Reports dropdown in the header now shows the platform that the round was played on.
- You can now see Gadgets on the Unlocks -> Weapons page
- You can now see if items are unlocked by Premium or Battlepacks on the Stats -> Weapons and Unlocks -> Weapons pages
- You will now see a confirmation prompt when trying to leave a Platoon; for the original founder, the button will now instead say "Disband" and will also see a confirmation prompt when trying to disband the Platoon.
- Various pixels pushed for better looks and alignment on the Server Info page
- Various minor improvements and tweaks
FIXES:
- No longer possible to equip AA mines alongside rocket launchers in Loadout
- Fixed an issue where code would be written to chats under some circumstances
- Fixed an issue where the new player experience flow would show on every login for some console players
- Fixed an issue with Platoon feed sticky posts that weren't set correctly; the page will now also instantly update to reflect the change
- Fixed an issue with the details box on Unlocks -> Vehicles, where it would sometimes overlap the footer
- Fixed some emblem shapes default colors, that were shown as black instead of white
- Various fixes for the unlock requirements shown in Loadout, which wasn't always correctly set
- Fixed an issue on launching, when using the Tablet Commander app with a non-ranked soldier
- Fixed an issue where some emblem shapes weren't always named correctly when opening Battlepacks
- Various pixels pushed on the Missions page to better accomodate for long user names and scores in the nemesis sections
- Fixed an issue where the UCAV was listed twice in the list of vehicles for Soldier Equipment
- Fixed an issue with the expansion pack icon not showing correctly for items in Loadout, if they had the "cannot equip" style

However, we are delaying the launch of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC.We’ve detected an issue and it needs to be solved. Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible. We are also working on a larger update to release alongside Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC that will address the issue of Tablet Commander not working correctly. rivaLxfactor - Security Exploit in Commander mode - TwitchReports are coming in that a recently surfaced security exploit is griefing Battlefield 4 PC users on Commander-enabled servers.Any PC-side server with Commander slots enabled is susceptible, Battlefield 4 YouTube personality Xfactor Gaming tells us. At the will of any exploiter with the know how, he or she may target any player, causing this message to flash on-screen for roughly five seconds: “No free Commander slots.” Shortly thereafter, all players are kicked from the server and the server crashes.
While it may not affect all users, and only those with a following on popular streaming services like Twitch, it might not hurt to avoid Commander-enabled servers on the PC until developer DICE is able to determine a fix.

R30 Server Update-Players will no longer be able to pick up deployed AA mines
-Players will no longer be able to equip an AA mine together with rocket launchers
-Fix for an issue where players could have two Javelin projectiles in the air at the same time
-Javelin damage has been reduced from 34% to 30%
-Active Radar cone on the Ground Active Radar Missiles has been reduced from 5 degrees to 2 degrees
-Reduced the resupply time of the Flares from 25 to 20 seconds
-Reduced the resupply time of the ECM from 30 to 25 seconds
-Increased the resupply time of Active Protection from 30 to 35 seconds
-Bullpup weapons with 1x sights should now all properly benefit from increased movement speed while aiming down the sight
-Increased the damage of the CBJ-MS all ranges to better balance its low rate of fire
-Reduced the direct damage of the Attack Helicopter Zuni rockets as they were slightly too powerful after the last adjustment - as a result that last increase has been toned down to 50%
-Increased the side to side recoil of the AWS to balance it with other 800 RPM LMGs and keep its unique firing behavior
-Reduced the damage of the FIM-92 Stinger and SA-18 IGLA to 35% from 45% against Scout, Attack Helicopters and jets
-Toned down the helicopter flip caused by FIM-92 Stinger, SA-18 IGLA and Starstreak HVM-2 impacts

Το crysis 3 = MEGA FAIL, πεταμενα λεφτα, μακρια, ουσττ , ειδικα το multi.

If the latest rumors are to be believed, Digital Illusion CE’s sequel to the unique free-running game, Mirror’s Edge, will include a “multiplayer playground” within its always online open world.
The info comes from “verified sources”, says Rocketchainsaw, who states that part of Mirror’s Edge’s open world environment will include include “a persistent, ‘always online’ component.”
“The open world is considered a multiplayer ‘playground’ where other plays can drop-in/drop-out seamlessly, freely choosing their level of interaction with other players and the game world. A comparison to Journey‘s online feature was given as the closest example.”
According to the info, a co-op mode of sorts and competitive time trials will also make an appearance in the game.

Battlelog UpdateANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Naval Strike content is now available on Battlelog in most areas, so you can see (but not yet unlock) upcoming weapons, assignments, etc. This also includes support for rank 111 to 120
FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS:
- Platoon founders (only the original founder) can now change the name of their Platoon
- Platoon leaders and founders can now cancel invites that have been sent
- We now show a cogwheel/gear icon instead of the report icon in Platoons, if you are a member
- The details box for Platoon Battle Reports will now follow on page scroll
- Recommended Servers will now never include servers that contain less than 10 players
- Sounds for new Battle Reports and Mission notifications will now no longer be heard, when you're playing multiplayer (since it was redundant)
FIXES:
- Fixed an issue with the Live Scoreboard not loading for the new game servers that went live last week
- Fixed an issue where Battlelog Soldier Portraits wouldn't be available after unlock for soldiers that had stats transferred from a current-gen to a next-gen console
- Fixed an issue where Mission Dog Tags wouldn't unlock after the requirements had been met
- Fixed an issue where tracking a Suggestion in the in-game Battlelog on PC, PS4 or Xbox One caused the progress bar to reset to zero
- An assignment will now always show all criteria as completed, if the assignment itself has been completed
- Fixed an issue where the details bar on the Awards page would sometimes have broken positioning
- Fixed an issue where clicking on an emblem for a soldier that uses a Platoon emblem would take you to your own emblem page instead of the Platoon page
- Clicking a BF4 Platoon notification in the BF3 or MOHW section will now correctly redirect you to the BF4 section
- Various smaller fixes and tweaks for Platoons
- Various other minor fixes
