NVIDIA 8600GT and 8600GTS Pictured!

OCWorkbench has found some pictures and specs of NVIDIAs mainstream DirectX 10 cards, the 8600GT and the 8600GTS. The GT (pictured below on the left) is the replacement for the 7600GT and will feature the G84-300 GPU running at 540MHz and either 128MB or 256MB of 128-bit GDDR3 RAM at 1400MHz, priced between $150 and $180. The 8600GTS (below on the right) is a step up from the GT and will replace the 7900GS, using the G84-400 GPU running at 675MHz and either 256MB or 512MB of 128-bit GDDR3 RAM at 2000MHz, with a price of between $200 and $250. As reported before on techPowerUp!, these cards should be released (along with the 8500GT) on April 17th .

GTS

The GPU used is labelled G84-400. The GPU clock runs at 675MHz and GDDR3 at 2000MHz. The card is HDCP Ready.The DX10 card, 8600GTS is supposed to take over the performance market of the 7900GS and 7950GT. from 17 Apr 2007. There will be 256MB and 512MB versions of the 8600GTS cards. Both cards will support GDDR3 or GDDR4 128bits and comes with Dual DVI, HDTV and HDCP. The card is slightly longer than the 8600GT. It also comes with a 6 pin power connector. There are two DVI-I and a SLI connector Slot on top.

The GPU used is labelled G84-300. The GPU clock runs at 540MHz and GDDR3 at 1400MHz. G84 does not support HDCP. There is another version G84-305 comes with HDCP support.The 8600GT is supposed to take over the mainstream market of the 7600GT and 7600GS from May 2007. There will be 128M and 256MB versions of the 8600GT cards. Both cards will support GDDR3 128bits Dual DVI, HDTV and HDCP.

Καλυτερα παντως που εχει 128 για να μην μπερδευονται οι χρηστες.... Φανταζοσασταν να ειχε 256 και να μην μπορουσε να τα διαχειριστει?? (ρυθμος πληρωσης......)

Αφου δεν μπορει κιολας καλυτερα

μην σας παραξενευουν τα 128bit.

εγινε ετσι επειδη η καρτα εχει λιγοτερα ROPs-TMUs απο τις μεγαλυτερες.

λιγοτερα αλλα πληρως αξιοποιησιμα..γι`αυτο παει κομματια..

ριξτε και μια ματια ΕΔΩ

Πόπο..... Super.... Μου φαίνεται θα πάρω μια 8600GTS, θα της βάλω ένα water block και θα την overclockάρω στο 1Ghz... 7000+ στο 3dmark 06? Θηρίο...

Η x1950pro σε αντίστοιχο σύστημα πόσο βγάζει? Κοντά πρέπει να είναι....

Επίσης η 8800GTS πόσο βγάζει σε stock? (καλά βέβαια με overclock η 8800GTS ξεπερνάει τους stock της GTX, οπότε είναι πιο θηρίο)

Ίσως και να περιμένω καμιά 8900GS, αν βγει...

το οτι τα ρολογια της GTS ανεβαινουν παραπανω απο της GTX δε λεει και πολλα,αφου εχουν σημαντικες διαφορες,δεν ειναι η ιδια καρτα με αλλους χρονισμους
