Δε πιστεύω να έχει αναφερθεί ξανά, αλλά και πάλι του αξίζει δικό του topic. Επιτέλους η Intel έβγαλε drivers που ενεργοποιούν το trim σε raid arrays για Windows 7.

Δεν ειναι ακριβως ετσι, το trim δουλευει σε single ssd οταν ο controller ειναι σε raid mode. Ετσι μπορεις να εχεις τον ssd σου με το trim εν δραση αλλα και τους μηχανικους σου δισκους σε raid.

It will support TRIM with SSDs in an AHCI configuration, or with the RAID controller enabled and the SSD is used as a pass through device. An example of this use case is for users that want to use the SSD as a boot drive but still be able to RAID multiple HDDs together to allow for large protect data storage – a great use for the home theater PC. TRIM support for SSDs in a RAID configuration is under investigation and is not included in Intel® RST 9.6.

Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support.

I have confirmed that TRIM is not supported for SSDs that are part of a RAID configuration. It is supported in AHCI mode and for pass-through drives (drives that are not part of a RAID config). At this time our development teams are not working on solutions that would offer TRIM for SSDs that are part of a RAID configuration.

The information available on the Help Menu is incorrect. This has been escalated already and will be corrected shortly.

Τουλάχιστον όσοι έχουμε έναν intel σε AHCI mode,μπορούμε πλέον να έχουμε "auto" trim με αυτούς τους drivers και δεν χρειαζόμαστε πλέον αυτούς της microsoft........αν κατάλαβα καλά:to_pick_ones_nose3:

με αυτούς τους drivers εχω πρόβλημα με e-sata δίσκο. Τον ανανγωρίζει σαν συσκευή μετά από πόοση ώρα και δεν εχω access στα αρχεία τον εμφανίζει χωρίς χωρητικότητα.

και μενα, κολλαει μετα απο καθε εκκινηση και βγαζει θαυμαστικο , με μυνημα οτι δεν τρεχει ο driver(δε το θυμαμια ακριβως -need reboot) αλλα μολις κλικαρω στον manager , τοτε "ξυπναει" και ειναι ολα οκ μετα.

Όχι θέλεις Toolbox για optimize = trim

Καλοί χρυσοί οι intel αλλά σαν το garbage collection τίποτα, του χώνεις BSD αμαλάχει και το firmware καθαρίζει. Θέλω να δω τον καινούργιο real ssd 300

Κατέβασε το CrystalDiskInfo.

Αν στα surrported features του δίσκου σου εμφανίζεται το Trim είσαι εντάξει.
