Οι admins & moderators* κάνουν παράπονα για την βροχή των like που πέφτουν, οπότε με "μέτρο"

με το καλημέρα στην πρώτη παράγραφο .Άλλος είναι ο εικονιζόμενος, ποιός ? Ο νοών νοείτω !!!

Καλά Χριστούγεννα με αγάπη, τις μνήμες δεν τις χρειάζομαι σας τις χαρίζω 

Πριν κάνω την παραγγελία κατά τύχη είδα ότι χρειάζεται ο αντάπτορας.

Οκ λες με τον αντάπτορα, μ'έναν μπορείς να συνδέσεις 2-3 ...frames,

αλλά με τα διαφορετικά χρώματα στην ταινία και τα frames ξενέρωσα, 

λέω ok θα χρησιμοποιήσω εξωτερικό controller αν χρειαστεί να μπει ταινία rgb.

Αφού είχα ξεβιδώσει το ένα frame και είχα στα χέρια την slim ταινία είπα να δω τι παίζει 

με τις κολλήσεις κι αν αντιστοιχούν οι χρωματισμοί με την κανονική ταινία.

H rgb που έχω είναι της geyer, οι θέσεις/σειρά των χρωμάτων συμβαδίζουν με αυτά της μητρικής

αλλά όχι με το halo frame. To περίεργο είναι ότι σκέτα τα frames δουλεύουν σωστά τα χρώματα, όταν συνδεθεί 

η ταινία έχει άλλο χρώμα όπως έχω γράψει.

Το έψαξα παραπάνω να δω τι στον .... γίνεται, την διαφορά που έχουν στις θέσεις τα χρώματα την

διορθώνουν με τον αντάπτορα αλλάζοντας θέσεις στα pin του ακροδέκτη  και βάζοντας τα με την

σωστή σειρά 12V-GRB.

Καλά μέχρι εδώ, αλλά γιατί δεν απεικονίζετε σωστά στην ταινία led και διαφέρουν,

μπλε τα frame κόκκινο η ταινιά παράδειγμα.

Η ταινία θα συνδεθεί στην διακλάδωση του αντάπτορα όπου τα καλώδια έχουν λάθος σειρά 

και αλλάζει τις θέσεις των χρωμάτων.

Με λίγα λόγια διορωνει τα frames και χαλάει την σειρά στην ταινία led.

Φαίνεται η λ@λ@κία τους στην παρακάτω φώτο

α) Με κόκκινο κύκλο αλλαγή των καλωδίων και η διόρθωση που κάνει στον ακροδέκτη.

β) Στον πράσινο κύκλο ο διακλαδωτής όπου συνδέεται η ταινία led και "χαλάει" αλλάζει

η σειρά των χρωμάτων της ταινίας.

γ) με κόκκινη γραμμή στο γκρι καλώδιο είναι τα 12Volt

Δεν ξέρω αν είμαι κάπου λάθος, αλλά με βάση τα παραπάνω που το

κοίταξα καλύτερα αυτό το συμπέρασμα βγάζω.

Μιας και έχω στην κατοχή μου τα απλά halo frame κάποιες έξτρα πληροφορίες:

Οι δυο εκδόσεις πέρα τις διαφοράς του υλικού κατασκευής, η απλή έκδοση στα 9,90€ δεν περιλαμβάνει

αντάπτορα/καλώδιο* τροφοδοσίας για να μπορέσετε να τα συνδέσετε στο rgb header της μητρικής ή σε κάποιον controller.

*Αν δεν θέλετε να μπλέκεται με κόψιμο καλωδίων και κολλήσεις υπάρχει ο αντάπτορας PHANTEKS-PIN RGB LED ADAPTER 

gγια τον οποίο θα πρέπει να υπολογίσετε επιπλέον 3,50€. Σε αντίθεση με την Lux έκδοση που τα περιλαμβάνει όλα.

Πρόβλημα που μπορείτε να αντιμετωπίσετε είναι, όταν συνδέσετε τα halos frames με έξτρα ταινία led στο header

της μητρικής ή σε κάποιον controler. Στα frames να έχετε κόκκινο χρώμα και στην ταινία led να δείχνει μπλε.

Αυτό γίνετε επειδή τα χρώματα στα frames είναι σε διαφορετική σειρά από την τυπική σειρά που έχουν οι ταινίες led ή 

και στην μητρική.

*** Πιο συγκεκριμένα η σειρά των χρωμάτων στο frame είναι 12V-BGR, στις ταινίες led είναι 12V-GRB

(ίδια σειρά με τη ταινία led έχει και η μητρική).

Οπότε θα πρέπει να αντιστοιχίσετε τα χρώματα, με λίγα λόγια της κολλήσεις και τα κοψίματα δεν τις γλυτώνετε

αν θέλετε να συνδέσετε και ταινία led ώστε να δουλεύουν σωστά τα χρώματα.

Οπότε αν την φτιάξετε εσείς την ταινία αντιστοιχίστε από πριν την "σωστή σειρά".

Αν είναι έτοιμη η ταινία led → "κόβεται και ράβετε" ή την ταινία ή τα καλώδια στον αντάπορα ότι σας είναι πιο εύκολο.

Αν δεν θέλετε να κόψετε και το έχετε με τις κολλήσεις αποκολλάτε και κολλάτε πάλι τα καλώδια στην slim ταινία

με την κλασική σειρά που έχουν οι rgb ταινίες (με δική σας ευθύνη).

Παρακάτω και μερικές φωτογραφίες πως είναι τα frames

επειδή εσωτερικά η slim ταινία led που έχουν τα frame κάνουν σαν κουδουνίστρα έβαλα διπλής όψεως σε κάποια σημεία

First Intel Z390 motherboard spotted

Six weeks ago, a roadmap was leaked showing new 8th Gen Coffe Lake-S processors to be launched early next year. The roadmap lists 6, 4 and 2-core CPUs with TDP at 65W and 35W. The CPU spotted at Sisoft with Z390 motherboard is detected as a 92W part.

According to another leaked roadmap, Intel Z390 motherboards are to be expected in second half of 2018. Since we are seeing this Z390 leak already in November (~220+ days before 2H 2018), one could say that the timeline could have changed, so in other words, the Z390 may launch sooner.

Η Nvidia αναφέρει ότι η GTX 1070 Ti θα είναι κατά μέσο όρο 15% ταχύτερη έναντι της GTX 1070, με το Anandtech να υπολογίσει με βάση το νούμερο αυτό, ότι η νέα κάρτα θα είναι μόλις 8% πιο αργή από την GTX 1080, όπου η τελευταία δεν εκμεταλλεύεται το μεγαλύτερο bandwidth που έχει στην διάθεσή της, χάρη στις ταχύτερες μνήμες της.

Στην παραπάνω πρόταση μάλλον είναι χωρίς το 'δεν'

We investigated the behavior of Intel's new Coffee Lake processors in overclocking tests.

We got overclocked in the iOff's Coffee Lake article released last week,  the most powerful Core i7-8700K processor to operate Prime95 steadily with AVX commands with 4.7 GHz and without AVX commands at 4.9 GHz clock speed.

On the ROG Strix Z370-F Gaming motherboard, however, it was found that Coffee Lake processors were given a fairly high operating voltage, but at the same time the CPU Z program reported significantly lower readings. Also, the Load Line Calibration feature equalizing the actual operating voltage to the set operating voltage did not seem to work as expected.

The same observations on the Asus ROG Strix series Z370 motherboards have been done by io-Tech readers in the TechBBS forum as well as Reddit users around the world.

We investigated this together with the Asus R & D department. From there we were told measuring points to measure the actual operating voltage of the processor found on the back of the motherboard next to the processor base. The land must be taken to the image of the relevant point.

• Set Operating Voltage (Manual): 1.385 V
• Measured operating voltage (Prime95): 1.363 V
• CPU-Z: 1.312V
• Intel Extreme Tuning Utility: 1.395 V
• HWiNFO 64: 1,395V & 1,312V

The end result was that although the CPU-Z program shows the operating voltage of the processor dropping from about 0.080 to 0.092 volts, the actual voltage drops only about 0.020-0.022 volts. At present, none of our monitoring programs we tested did not seem to display a real operating voltage.

The LLC feature is already standard in Auto mode at its maximum level, i.e. level 7, so at least at this time it does not allow the processor's operating voltage to exceed the manually set value.

Without AVX commands in Prime 95 and other test programs, the configuration was stable at 4.9 GHz clock speed when the operating voltage was raised to 1,385 volts and measured at 1,363 volts as measured on the motherboard. In Prime95 without AVX commands, the processor temperature rose to 95 degrees and Package TDP value in 178 watts and Handbrakes at x264 encoding to 93 degrees and 163 watts.

I said this before, comparing single entries from AotS database is meaningless, because Metaverse website does not show any information about the clock speeds or the drivers. We only have the settings.

You can still browse the database to see where this puts GTX 1070 Ti performance wise. Some GTX 1080 go up to 8200 points, while most of them stay at 7000-ish points. You can also find many results of GTX 1070 and even 1080 in the same score region. So yes, it doesn’t really tell us much, apart from the fact that GTX 1070 Ti is coming and first results are starting to surface.

First Intel B360 motherboard spotted

SiSoftware database is full of interesting data. One of the new entries indicates that new B360 chipset is already in the works by SuperMicro.

The board we found is called SuperMicro C7B360-CB-M. By following SuperMicro’s naming schema, we can assume that we are looking at a Micro-ATX motherboard. This is the first B360 motherboard that we found. Interestingly, SuperMicro’s C7Z370-CG-L was also the first Z370 motherboard to be discovered 85 days before launch.

In case you are confused why the new chipset is called B360 and not B350, the answer is to look at competitor’s offer. AMD is already using this name for their mid-range chipset.

Previous leaks were only pointing at the first quarter of 2018, but such an early appearance of B360 motherboard could actually suggest a launch in January.

Intel Will no Longer Disclose Multi-Core Turbo Boost Frequencies

  In yet another unexpected move Intel has made is clear that it will not be sharing any details anymore on the multi-core Turbo clock frequencies of their processors.

You might already have noticed it, Intel is only listing the highest Boost frequency, and not the rest. Here’s the thing, the recent generation processors basically have three main frequencies.

 

1. Base Baseclock
2. Binned multi all-core clock turbo
3. Single thread turbo

 

  Intel from now on will only list the base and (1) and Single thread (3) turbo. As to why this is, remains uncertain, however many scenarios pop into mind. It might be a legal reason as they cannot guarantee the all core turbo on all processors.However, the longer I think about this, then an old routine kicks in .. what would be the most probable? Might it be that Intel likes that highest

 

  Turbo listed on their packaging a bit better for marketing  and thus sales? I mean, it’s not unthinkable right? The guys from eteknix have a quote from Intel on this:

 “[W]e’re no longer disclosing this level of detail as its proprietary to Intel. Intel only specifies processor frequencies for base and single-core Turbo in our processor marketing and technical collateral, such as ARK, and not the multi-core Turbo frequencies. We’re aligning communications to be consistent. All Turbo frequencies are opportunistic given their dependency on system configuration and workloads.”

 

  So a Core i7 8700 is now being listed as a 4.7 GHz processor (click the link and look at the ARK info). But considering that is just one thread, it really runs 4.3 GHz on all six cores. Weird move huh?

Intel 8th Gen Coffee Lake Processors Will Be Hard To Get - Availability Dramatic

Intel yesterday released their Coffee Lake generation processors. The Z370 motherboards are available alright, the processors however now. We did some rounds here in the Netherlands and availability is dramatic. Intel supplied a dozen or two of the high-end specced processors to distributors, and that's it. 

Meanwhile checking some price engines, the stock availability in Europe has run dry. In the USA the 8700k is also out of stock, I did notice the 8600k on Newegg though.

In the UK some shops are hugely milking the procs they can actually sell. One of the bigger etailer for example decided to test and bin the procs they had, and have pre-binned 5Ghz versions for £500, 5.1Ghz for £600 or 5.2Ghz for £800 in-stock.

Grigas Για τους kaby δεν έχει πάρει κάτι το μάτι μου (προς το παρόν).

Όσον αφορά την διαθεσιμότητα και τις τιμές για D1 για τους coffee μια χαρά είμαστε (αν εξαιρέσουμε

τον περιορισμό στο chipset για αρχή από intel). Για τα cpu περίμενα τον 8700k στο φθηνότερο σκρου/ζο 400€,

μετά egate,msystems κτλ από 420+. O 8600k τον υπολόγιζα εκεί που είναι περίπου στα 280€.

Οι τιμές για τις μητρικές (κατά το launch) μια χαρά είναι αν συγκρίνουμε με το προηγούμενο chipset (που είναι "το ίδιο")

Intel 8th Gen Core ‘Coffee Lake-S’ Review Roundup

Seven months after Ryzen’s domination in multi-core mainstream market Intel finally has a response. It is rushed, so the availability might be a problem. Intel finally understood that quad-core CPUs out of interest of gamers who also like to stream or create their own content.

The 6-core family products spans across Core i7 and Core i5 series. For the first time Intel has a mainstream processor with 6 cores and for the first time, Intel has a 6-core CPU under 200 USD (i5-8400). This is a serious move from Intel, the competition in multi-core market has just began.

Intel Coffeelake-S CPUs will only support 300 series motherboards. This means that an upgrade from Skylake or Kabylake will much more expensive. Unlike AMD, Intel did not officially confirm whether upgraded LGA1151 socket will support future CPUs, so this is something to consider before buying a new motherboard.

The new 6-core family is also likely to affect the sales of 7th Gen Core-X CPUs, especially the i7-7800X. The Coffelake-S has much better overclocking potential, it is cheaper and has lower TDP. Unless you need more PCIe lanes, the 8700K will definitely be a better choice.
