Total War: Warhammer revealed

 

Sega and strategy specialist Creative Assembly have accidentally revealed the game we all knew was in the works: Total War: Warhammer.

Confirmation comes from The Art of Total War book, which includes a line mentioning the game.

A Total War Center.net user called "StormOfRazors" spotted a quote from Creative Assembly's Mike Simpson, in which he reveals the unannounced treasure... "and taking the series to a fantasy setting with Total War: Warhammer."

 

Total War: Warhammer appears to be on its way

 

We've known for a while that Creative Assembly has struck a deal with Games Workshop to create games in the Warhammer universe, but now we have evidence that a franchise-themed spin off for Total War will be announced imminently.

That's according to a note by Creative Assembly creative director Mike Simpson in a new Total War artbook, and while the book doesn't release officially until later this month, one Total War fan has gained access to the book early.

Δεν ξέρω η creative assembly με έχει μπερδέψει. Το Rome 2 είχε πολλά προβλήματα όταν έγινε released και μετά έβγαλε το Alien:Isolation που ήταν αρκετά καλύτερο και έκανε τα πάντα σωστά (ατμόσφαιρα κτλ). Ελπίζω με αυτό να είμαστε στην δεύτερη περίπτωση και όχι στην περίπτωση του Rome 2.

New 15 years of Total War video teases Warhammer game

 

Now, Sega has released a video, below, that celebrates 15 years of the Total War series. It references everything from 2000's Shogun: Total War to the recently-released Total War: Attila.

Then, at the end, a mysterious purple haze image and a monstrous growl. It's nothing we've seen in a previous Total War game and an obvious tease for Warhammer.
