Ξενέρα το τεστ. 100 ώρες και συνεχίζουν (+20κάτι για το ΑΜΔ .Αλλά είπαμε, οι ΑΜΔ ζεστένονται ,γι'αυτούς θα μιλάμε τώρα???)

# AMD's dual core systems are more reliable at this point in time, at least when we put the final AMD product up against the pre-release Intel products that we used. We had far more problems with the Intel setup than AMD. Whether this is the nature of the products we tested, the mistakes we made in configuration, the greater tolerance for error when assembling AMD-related support components, or our own comfort factor with AMD equipment, we can't really say. But it is something to keep in mind when you assemble your own dual-core systems.

# Be prepared to be at the hairy edge of reliability with Intel dual-core SLI systems for the near term. We realize that our Intel setups are pre-release, but still we had several issues with BIOS updates and other items that reduced overall system reliability. This is certainly something to watch for as the Intel systems get into general release.

Σου ξέφυγε το σημείο που θάβει ως άχρηστους τους AMD στο DivX encoding και που εμμέσως κατηγορεί τις cpus για λάθος σχεδιασμό.

Κάποιος αδαής απλά υποθέτει ότι οι AMD λόγο σφάλματος εκ κατασκευής είναι 10 φορές ποιο αργοί στο encoding από τους Intel με ΗΤ.

Our observations suggest that the AMD system can't distribute the CPU's computing power as well among the four single applications as the Intel system does. So the big question here is: Why?

What are the reasons for the AMD dual core CPU being apparently unable to ideally distribute the four applications on the two cores, even though the load on the single cores is at maximum? Is this an issue of the integrated memory controller and its memory allocation/controller logic? Or perhaps the integrated memory controller of the X2 produces more overhead, resulting in lower performance?

Ουδέν σχόλιο για το ότι ο Pentium 4 εκμεταλλεύεται πλήρως το ΗΤ ( 4 βαριές εφαρμογές για 4 λογικές cpus όλος τυχαίως ). Μόνο το ότι θα το τσεκάρουν λες και δεν το ξέρουν. Εχτές έστησαν για πρώτη φορά PC.
