    Limited Availability Coffee lake at Launch and in Q4 It is hard to gauge whether or not it’s a bit of a click-bait from some media outlets, but granted it’s possible. Word out is that Coffee Lake processors will see limited availability at launch and the remainder of 2017. We all know that Intel kinda rushed the Coffee lake launch forward to have an answer to AMD. The quick push forward is likely to result in limited availability of the processor series in Q4 2017 as the original launch was expected to be in Q1 2018. The guys from SweClockers mention that they did rounds are Swedish etailers and, the word back was that they have very little stock. If that is the case on a global scale, then it will have an adverse effect on final etail pricing of course as high-demand drives up prices. It seems that Core i7-8700K, Core i5-8600K, and Core i3-8350K are on stock to some degree yet the Core i7-8700, Core i5-8400 and Core i3- 8100 have not even reached the stores yet.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to launch on October 26th We’ve just received a word from Nordic Hardware that they have a launch date for GTX 1070 Ti. Our sources have already confirmed to us that GTX 1070 Ti would launch late October, but the exact date was unknown at the time. It seems that Nordic Hardware have an update on this matter. The alleged GTX 1070 Ti would, therefore, launch on October 26h (Thursday). This is a new 400-ish USD graphics card to fill the gap between GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. A gap that was exploited by Radeon RX Vega series. According to NH, the specifications that were already floating around the web are valid. The GTX 1070 Ti would receive 2432 CUDA cores, 8GB GDDR5 memory and higher clock speeds than GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 Ti might be a good card for mining, as it features GDDR5 memory (which is better for mining) and almost as high CUDA core count as GTX 1080. The AIB partners are already working on new models, so we expect a new wave of high-end cards next month. The exact reason why Nvidia has chosen to prepare this new graphics card model is nobody knows. One possible reason may be to cement its dominance in the higher intermediate segment when AMD's Vega 56 has been doing well in its battle against the standard GTX 1070 model. The source speculates that Nvidia targets users who exploit cryptovalutors using their graphics cards. Then the GTX 1070 Ti will have almost as many CUDA kernels as its GTX 1080 big sister, but with GDDR5 instead of the X version of memory, which reduces the costs for both the manufacturer and the consumer.

    Intel to launch B360, H370 and H310 chipsets in Q1’2018 Intel H370, H310 and B360 chipsets coming Q1 2018 The slide confirms that Intel did indeed change the naming of their B_50 chipsets to B_60. As we explained this earlier, Intel had no other choice, due to the fact that AMD has already ‘borrowed’ the B350 name for their Ryzen chipset. The H370, H310 and B360 chipsets will all arrive in the first quarter next year. The interesting part is where Intel has another Coffeelake-S CPUs coming in the same period. The difference is hidden in the TDP (95/65W changes to 65/35W). It’s hard to speculate what parts are being planned here, but Intel confirmed in a press call that Pentium and Celeron processors should be expected around that time. Source: GamersNexus
