The game will be coming to the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and "next generation platforms." More details will be announced at Microsoft's May 21 Xbox event. "Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we're not resting on our laurels," said Mark Rubin, executive producer of developer Infinity Ward. "We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we're building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can't wait to share them with our community." The game's "first look" will be shown during the Xbox: The Next Generation Revealed event on May 21 taking place in Redmond, Wa. at 1 p.m. Eastern. While that event hasn't been detailed, it is widely considered to be when Microsoft will unveil their next-gen console. Όποιος θέλει τα super wow gfx ας παίξει BF3 που γονατίζει τα πάντα. Σε καιρούς κρίσης να ευχόμαστε τα παιχνίδια να είναι σαν τα COD με εξαιρετικά γραφικά και να μπορούν να παίζουν και σε συστήματα χαμηλότερων προδιαγραφών... Νομίζω στα προηγούμενα είχαν πει απλά για enhancements, οπότε είχαν δίκιο μιας και έφτιαξαν τον renderer και ανέβασαν texture quality για να καλύψουν όλα τα υπόλοιπα αρχαία κομμάτια του (αν θυμάμαι καλά το ακόμα και στο Blops2 παραμένει το παλιό netcode του Q3A).
