Ψάχνοντας για κάποιον Controller, έπεσα πάνω σε αυτό :

Είναι ένα εργαλειάκι από την εταιρία Antspec, που δίνει πληροφορίες για τον Controller, τα Memory IC's που χρησιμοποιούνται, τη διαμόρφωση,το offset, το FW, κλπ..

Το βρήκα αρκετά χρήσιμο, και είπα να το μοιραστώ μαζί σας, για να ξέρουμε τι περιέχει το κάθε στικάκι που αγοράζουμε και ίσως να έχουμε και μια ιδέα για το ποιά αξίζουν την αγορά.

Μπορεί να ποστάρει ο καθένας το log του προγράμματος , ώστε να γίνει μια λίστα στη συνέχεια.

Για όποιον έχει όρεξη για μετάφραση/ψάξιμο, παραθέτω και το forum μέσω του οποίου το βρήκα ( >εδώ< ) και ένα σχετικό παράδειγμα από κάποιο στικάκι :

Μου έκανε εντύπωση πως και στο δικό μου Flash Voyager GTX είχα offset 31K, το οποίο είναι ΛΑΘΟΣ.

Έκανα realign το stick με το Paragon Alignment Tool και ιδού τα αποτελέσματα:

1) Corsair Flash voyager GTX χωρίς alignment:

Αρκετή η διαφορά ειδικά στα writes

άρα τα δικά μου 4032kb είναι σωστά Ζαχαρία?

το allignment διαφοροποιείται με το μέγεθος του drive?

Το δικό σου είναι σωστό. Δεν ξέρω τι παίζει ρόλο.

Στο απλό Flash Voyager 32GB που έχω ήταν οκ (64Κ).

To ίδιο ήταν και στο HyperX fury που έχω. Στο Flash Voyager GTX ήταν λάθος (31Κ). Και το drive το άνοιξα και το φόρμαρα χθες. Που σημαίνει πως κάπου υπάρχει λάθος από το εργοστάσιο ή από το file system (NTFS το έχω).

Έχει δίκιο ο Ζάχος, κι εμένα μου βγάζει 31Κ BAD τώρα, όταν το πήρα από όσο θυμάμαι έβγαζε παραδόξως 16Κ ΟΚ.

Εϊναι στικάκι για Win7 εγκατάσταση, οπότε μάλλον στη φάση του auto φορμαρίσματος κάτι χάλασε...

Το έβαλα στο MiniPartitionToolWizard να γιάνει...

Όντως :p

Μετά από δημιουργία του partition από Disk Utility στο Ubuntu:

Relative Offset: 16 KB

Μετά από δημιουργία του partition από Disk Management των Windows:

Relative Offset: 1024 KB

Αυτό το 31KB που έχουμε αρκετοί από που ήρθε?

To iδιο φλασακι εχω με τον απο πανω ζαχο.

Δεν αλλαζει νουμερα και με aligned.(μολις το εκανα...)

Ίσως ισχύει στα SSD based USB stick. π.χ. το Corsair Flash Voyager GTX ούτε στα Windows αναγνωρίζετε ως USB stick αλλά ως δίσκος.

Αν και για να πω την αληθεια θα ηθελα να χαλασει το alignment ο [MENTION=23267]vroom[/MENTION].:p

Aπλα για να μου φυγει η περιεργεια.

(αφου κρατησει νουμερα cdm/as-ssd απο το τωρινο 4κ alingment.)

και ο [MENTION=400]astrolabos[/MENTION] βεβαια αν κανει την αναποδη διαδικασια :p

(για σχεδον τον ιδιο..αλλα αντιθετο λογο).
